Well, here's the entrance to last year's DAC'00 conference in Los Angeles. I remember walking 7 city blocks through some questionable L.A. neighborhoods to get there because it took so long to get a taxi. (They were over-priced anyway.) It looks like some sort of star ship landed in L.A., no?

40 minutes and a few colorful arguements with the registration lady and I'm in. Gosh, I've been away from my e-mail for almost an hour now. Must get DECnet to get me to my home e-mail account before EDS sets in...
