I check into my hotel and while I'm in my
room, someone slips an envelope under the door. "Mr. Cooley,
your presence is required for the induction of Initiate Madhavan into the ultra secret Evil Design
Automation Council (EDAC). Proceed immediately to 235 Bourbon St., go up to the 2nd floor, knock 3
times, then 5 times to enter." -- OK, someone's having fun with the
EDAC acronym, but a free party is a free party. So I go.

I get there and run into Wally Rhines and John Sanguinetti. Yup. I must be
in the right place. I ask them if they've seen Rajeev around and Sanguinetti tells me Rajeev is
here "with some other Indian guy I don't know."
Wally seems happy to see me, but oddly quiet.

"Have any of you ladies seen Rageev around?" (I wanted to thank
Rajeev for the invite.) "Yes, he's here somewhere
with some other guy we don't know."
