More importantly, you can't read anything from a .db file unless you also
have the source code (.lib) file.  For example, if you try to translate the
.db file into VHDL source code, it won't let you procede unless the source
code is also accessible.  I think they do this as a security precaution so
that people don't try to read everything that's in an ASIC foundary's
library without their permission.
