Subject: DW Artifacts Will Mess With Your PrimeTime SPEF Reader Runtimes!

Hi John,

I think there might be some other poor guys who would be interested in this:
We were unable to use PrimeTime versions past 2000.05 since reading
parasitics (SPEF files) has degraded by more than 2X on regular blocks and
got to over 2 days for the top level.

We just realized what was the problem.

For some reason dc_shell generated instances named something like:

                           a/b/*cell*/c

These are DesignWare artifacts to our best understanding. These "*" were
causing the slow down. Once removed our runtime improved dramatically.
