DC took 143 positive votes and 15 negatives. No big surprise here with the
Synopsys best selling tool. PrimeTime was 72 to 8. VCS 28 to 9. PhysOpt
went 22 to 10. OK, so it's still under development. TetraMax 11 to 4.
Now to the problem children. Chip Architect had 0 positive votes and 14
negatives. Says something here. Formality 2 to 12. Again, that tells us
something. VSS 1 to 6. CoverMeter, BSD Compiler, ECO Compiler had no
positive votes either; no surprises.
There were a total of 306 positive tool votes and 144 negative tool votes;
which is interesting because customers were asked to list one positive and
one negative Synopsys product. This seems to indicate customers having a
mostly positive view of Synopsys products.
