Subject: How Do I, Step By Step, Create Statistical Wireload Models For DC?
Hello, John,
I am a design automation engineer and is currently researching the mechanism
of developing statistical wireload model for my company's process technology.
I searched in your deepchip web site and could not find any discussion on how
statistical wireload model is generated, step by step. I have read Synopsys
available on-line manuals, searched SolveNet, and asked my Synopsys AE. No
document or AE can answer it. Instead, there is a lot of criticism on the
accuracy of vendor provided "statistical wireload models" in a library vs.
custom wireload models for a specific design floating in various ESNUG posts.
Help!
