Subject: SynaptiCAD seeks beta guinea pigs for its new Transaction Tracker
Hi, John,
SynaptiCAD is getting ready to release a new product and we are looking for
some engineers to eval the interface. The product lets you write Sugar/PSL
assertions to describe a transaction and then marks all the matching
transactions in your Verilog/VHDL waveform file. This is a substantially
new product for us. We would like some guys who are doing big designs to
spend a few minutes with the product in our pre-release beta program to see
if there are any other features that they need to make it useful.
To use Transaction Tracker there is just a simple three-step interface.
1.) You load in a waveform file generated from a simulator or from
a logic analyzer.
2.) You add a new signal and write a PSL equation to describe the
type of transaction or error sequence that you would like to view
in the data.
3.) You can view all the matching transaction either graphically on
the PSL equation signal or in tabular form.
To get you started, the beta ships with a tutorial that demonstrates how to
write PSL equations. If you would like to participate in our beta program
please contact Gary Covington at gary56@syncad.com. Qualified beta testers
will receive a free 60-day license to Transaction Tracker and a substantial
discount on the released product; depending on the amount of useful feedback
that we receive from them.
