Subject: Cooley asks for 14 seconds and 3 clicks to help DeepChip grow

COOLEY'S ROUND TUIT: A few years ago, when I first set up my LinkedIn
account, I made one of those passing personal mental notes to myself
at the time of: "When I GET AROUND TO IT, I should email the DeepChip
readers to connect to me on LinkedIn." Get it? "Round Tuit"??? :)
A military "Round Tuit" challenge coin from the HMS Defiant
Corny jokes aside, what made me lazy on this was every time I looked
at the numbers, I thought "why bother?"

Right now I have 1,700 LinkedIn "connections", yet the DeepChip email
list has 52,000 subscribers and the average DeepChip story gets 20,000
reader pageviews. But, then again, three BIG IDEAS hit me:

 - If some engineers want to read DeepChip on LinkedIn, it's good to
   accommodate them.

 - DeepChip works because we all get together and compare notes
on what the EDA vendors and fabs are telling us; adding
   LinkedIn voices helps that.

 - DeepChip also lets us share our EDA and fab horror stories, too;
and again adding LinkedIn voices *helps* this process, too.

So I'd appreciate it if you'd "connect" with me on LinkedIn here at
         https://www.linkedin.com/in/john-cooley-15027151/

P.S. And, yes, I timed it. It only takes 14 seconds & 3 clicks! :)
