Subject: AWR gives free RF/microwave SW to help recent EE grads get hired

From: "Dane Collins" <dane=user domain=awrcorp got calm>

Hi, John,

Two years ago on a road trip I had one of my big customers tell me that he'd
like it if he could hire new college graduates who already knew exactly how
to use our Microwave Office tools. Not too soon later, another customer
said the exact same thing.

In addition, it's been in the news that many new university engineering
graduates are having a tough time landing their first job.

Long story short, one idea led to another and another inside our company and
eventually we came up with our Graduate Gift Initiative.

Basically if you're a recent graduating BS, MS or PhD Electrical Engineering
student associated with the AWR University Program Member Institutions, you
can have a FREE one-year, personal-use license of our latest full-featured
versions of Microwave Office (including AXIEM 3D Planar EM Simulator) and
Visual System Simulator.

So far we've had 37 requests for this and have granted 34 licenses. They
range from graduates of University of Texas at Dallas, and North Carolina
State University, to University of Leeds, UK, and Kyushu University, Japan.

Please tell your RF/microwave readers see http://www.awrcorp.com/graduates
