Subject: Is There a Way to Read Old 9-Track GDSII onto a Modern Computer?

Hi John,

Got an interesting one to ask you... I am sitting on numerous legacy
chip designs from the 80's. These are GDSII files stored on 9-track reel
to real tapes. I own several 9-track tape drives. I use them for reading
out various backups of VAX/VMS, Data General and other obsolete systems.

Is there any DOS, Win, or Unix/Linux CAD or GDS2 program out there that
will read from a GDSII tape backup? I would really like to get these chip
designs off of these tapes, but without the proper application that can
do this, I'm at a standstill.

Thanks in advance for any help/suggestions.
