Yea, I thought Cadence was going to be all in my face about this, too.
Or at least that they'd what to publically comment on this to "set the
record straight" (which is their right) but I heard nothing from them
on it whatsoever. Nothing formally. Nothing informally. Nada.

I have no idea. Maybe some of Gary's contacts deep inside Cadence told him
something. I simply don't know. In my opinion, shutting down their IC CAD
division all depends on exactly how their new CEO plans to "fix" the
company -- which is yet to be determined.
